Speech therapists collaborate closely with teachers and parents to support students' communication development. They may provide strategies and resources for classroom teachers to facilitate communication skills in the classroom and offer guidance to parents on how to reinforce these skills at home. Pay range: $45-$50 per hour + travel incentives$

OTs provide direct intervention and therapy services to students, either individually or in small groups, to address specific areas of difficulty identified during assessment. These interventions may include activities to improve hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, visual perception, sensory processing, self-regulation, and organizational skills. Pay range: $50-$55 per hour + travel incentives

PTs suggest modifications to the school environment to promote accessibility and accommodate students' physical needs. This may involve recommending adaptive seating, positioning devices, or modifications to playground equipment and physical education activities. Pay range: $65- $70 per hour + travel incentives

An Early Intervention Special Instructor (SI) focuses on supporting and understanding the social, emotional and cognitive development of the child as a whole. Special Instructors teach caregivers how to create a learning environment that is most conducive to the child’s overall development. The SI can help the caregiver identify books and toys to engage the child in learning activities to develop their emerging language or social skills.  They can help point out ways to learn vocabulary, appropriate play skills, social skills, and overall developmental skills.

Provides individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or who are at risk for delays in the areas of cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. Pay range: $45-$65 + travel incentives
